You can save multiple signatures and add them to the document easily. Our spellings were checked as we typed – indicated by the usual squiggly line.Īdding a signature is simple, with three options for doing so: using a trackpad, iPhone or iPad, or by signing your name on a piece of paper and holding it up to the camera. You can also add comments in the form of sticky notes. Under Annotate in the menu are options for adding a speech bubble. These options are also available from the highlighter palette. You can also underline text the same way. You can also perform actions like strike-through – initially we used the line shape, but then we discovered that it is possible to select strike-through from the menu (Tools > Annotate). It can be a bit fiddly to get the text box to line up with the text on the page, but it’s not impossible. You can use Preview to add text (in text boxes), you can change the size, colour and font you use. It’s got some limitations, but it’s likely to offer enough tools for you if you just need to fill in some responses to questions on a PDF. In order to avoid this doubt for our users, we have specifically noted this on the purchasing page. A Perpetual license is a one-time payment, you own the software for a lifetime and have free minor updates within this version, however, you need to pay for major upgrades, for example, you can update PDFelement 7 from 7.1.X to 7.2.X, 7.3.X, etc for free, but you need to pay for the upgrade to version 8 or 9 or even higher). For your case, we'd like to make a further explanation as follow: Upon checking, we checked that you ordered a Perpetual license of PDFelement (version 7) in 2020. We sincerely apologize for the doubt and inconvenience that happened on your end. Reply from Wondershare PDFelement Updated Apparently, what happened in my case was a misunderstanding on the part of the customer service agent, but now Wondershare support took care of everything. Update: Now after multiple emails to the customer support to which they replied pretty fast, my issue is now resolved has been taken care of. They promised me with free futrure upgrades and the did not keep their word. At the time I asked for a refund, they deceived me with a free upgrade to one version so that I become uneligible for refund later. They refused my request though I provided them with the chat trasncript between me and Amanda. I contacted support and they told me that the free upgrade to version 8 was an exception. Now version 9 has been released and I did not get the upgrade. After some days, support contacted me, namely Amanda, she offered me the upgrade to version 8 and every future version. I left a negative review here on trustpilot. I asked for a refund for the lifetime was misleading. I complained for "free updates" was clear enough. I contacted support and they said that the lifetime version was for version 7 and that I was no eligible for future versions upgrades. A month or two later PDFelement 8 was released and I did not get the update. A year or two ago, I purchased the academic lifetime version of Wodershare PDFelement 7.
